Fenticonazole is an antifungal medicine.
Lomexin ovule works by triple-inhibitory action
• It stops the growth and adhesion of fungi and bacteria by directly inhibiting their secretory aspartate proteinase and pyruvate oxidoreductase enzymes.
• It inhibits the fungal cell wall integrity by inhibiting the cytochrome P450 3A enzyme.
• It disrupts the normal functioning of the fungal cell by inhibiting its oxidase and peroxidase enzymes.
Lomexin ovules are dissolved inside the vaginal which reduces vaginal burning, itching, and discharge.
