Lovrak cream contains an antiviral medication called aciclovir, which is used to treat herpes by stopping the herpes virus from reproducing inside cells. This helps speed up the healing process and reduce the symptoms associated with the viral infection.
It is used to treat skin infections caused by the herpes simplex virus, such as genital herpes and oral herpes, and also reduces the chances of recurrence of the herpes infection.
